About the event
The Dream Factory is an intensive 4-day laboratory that invites you to explore the creation and manipulation of an object performance.
In this workshop the participants will not only be encouraged to learn about object manipulation and the design and creation of theatrical props; but also will be invited to reflect upon the responsibility of artists to engage in more sustainable ways of creation. Bringing second life to discarded objects and turning what others consider garbage in to art, is one of the central themes of this laboratory experience.
The workshop is devised as two different blocks. The first block (Sustainable Landscapes) invites the participants to delve into puppet design and construction, guiding them to transform recycled and second-hand materials into unique theatrical objects.
