About Ammini Trust
Ammini Trust is a philanthropic initiative set up by Hema and Ravichandar, dedicated to fostering arts, crafts, culture, and community spaces in Bengaluru. Rooted in a commitment to heritage conservation and public engagement, the trust is focused on creating and enabling public spaces. It's particular focus is on providing an arts and crafts exposure to under privileged children.
The Beginning
Sabha is housed within a 160-year building that was once part of RBANM’s historic educational institutions, a legacy of Dharmarathnakara Rai Bahadur Arcot Narrainswamy Mudaliar. Founded in 1873, RBANM’s Educational Charities has played a vital role in shaping Bengaluru’s educational landscape, emphasizing access, inclusivity, and empowerment across generations.
The building once housed the CVS Sabha School and it is from this legacy that the name “Sabha” was derived. The logo of Sabha symbolizes a meeting of the minds where each letter forms a person-unique and diverse-coming together to debate, share and celebrate.
Rooted in heritage but forward-looking in its approach, Sabha continues RBANM’s commitment to learning and social impact—offering an inclusive platform for artists, thinkers, and the next generation of creators.
