About the event
Popula Dabba (the Telugu word for “spice box”) is a storytelling workshop where food, memory and art meet. It invites you to engage with the metaphor of the spice box as a way to explore your own layered narratives.
Built on the belief that food is a powerful gateway to personal histories, Popula Dabba offers a unique space to reflect, experiment, and create. Through collective storytelling practices, conversations around narrative, visual art and theatre, the workshop encourages people, whether emerging or established art practice or even someone looking to build an art practice, to explore how food can unlock memory, identity, and creativity.
This is a day-long workshop (8 hours), with a shared lunch break included as part of the process.
