The book gathers stories from women who lived, worked, or studied in the Cantonment during the 80s and 90s. The stories, in turn, map out spaces in Cantt neighbourhoods that allowed women the option of hanging out, chilling, loitering, putting scene, time pass-ing, just chumma existing, etc etc.
Writer and teacher, Nitya Vasudevan, will be in conversation with three womenโCK Meena, Agnes VT, and Vinita Sareenโeach with a distinct experience of the Cantonment. Segments of their stories will be read out from the art-essay book by project collaborators Nikhita Thomas and Pranav VS.
