Aritmija

Aritmija Fusion brings together four accomplished musicians from Slovenia and India: Slovenian guitarists Šemsudin Džopa and Tilen Stepišnik, Indian vocalist Sabiha Khan, and tabla player Vinayak Netke. Formed in 2016 during an Indo-Balkan collaboration, the quartet has spent the past decade developing a distinctive musical language that brings together Balkan folk, jazz, flamenco, Sufi, and Indian classical traditions.

Šemsudin Džopa, a multi-instrumentalist, composer, and co-founder of the Slovenian ensemble Duo Aritmija, is known for his work across acoustic, classical, and electric guitar, as well as mandolin and saz. He has performed extensively across Slovenia, Austria, Italy, Switzerland, France, Germany, the Czech Republic, Belgium, the UK, Argentina, and India. Alongside him is Tilen Stepišnik, guitarist, composer, and cultural worker, whose interest in harmonic minor scales, unusual rhythms, and folk traditions has shaped several acclaimed projects and performances across Europe.
