Cactus Pears (Sabar Bonda)
A tender new Marathi romantic drama by Rohan Parashuram Kanawade, Cactus Pears follows Anand, who returns to his hometown after a loss, only to rekindle a deep connection with his childhood friend Balya. The film, a co-production between India, Canada, and the UK, made history as the first Marathi feature to premiere at the Sundance Film Festival — where it went on to win the World Cinema Grand Jury Prize (Dramatic).
