Ameeras

An evening where Mandar and Dakshayani will sing works of Kabir, Raidas, Sahajobai, Yari Sahab and other mystic poets from India. These words that have travelled for centuries have found a tune for the first time. Presenting unheard poetry that resonates with the joys and worries of modern life.

The artists will sing works of different poets, explain their meaning and share their process of discovering these works and composing them. These works relate to different themes ranging from love, awareness, self-discovery, and joy.
